2Make a warm water bath at water temperature . Place a small jar containing cannabis distillate (enough for ⏱️ timer THC total) into the water bath to warm until fully fluid.water: 500 ml, temperature: 60 C, cannabis distillate: 1/2 g
-
3In a separate beaker, heat distilled water to temperature . Add gum arabic and whisk until dissolved. Add polysorbate-80 and whisk well to form the aqueous phase.distilled water: 200 ml, temperature: 60 C, gum arabic: 20 g, polysorbate-80: 4 g
-
4Slowly drizzle the warmed cannabis distillate into the aqueous phase while blending with homogenizer at high speed (18,000–24,000 rpm). Continue homogenizing for timer . Mixture should become milky-translucent.homogenizer, timer: 4 minutes
-
5Let the emulsion rest for timer to allow microbubbles to dissipate. Filter through syringe filter or fine mesh strainer to clarify.timer: 30 minutes, syringe filter: 0.45 micron, fine mesh strainer
-
6Prepare the flavour base by mixing lemon juice , lime juice , citric acid , and simple syrup . Stir until dissolved.lemon juice: 30 ml, lime juice: 30 ml, citric acid: 2 g, simple syrup: 30 ml
-
7Add the nano-emulsion to the flavour base by mixing cannabis nanoemulsion . Stir to combine into a concentrate.cannabis nanoemulsion: all produced above
-
8To assemble a single bottle, add flavour-emulsion concentrate to carbonated water in a chilled bottle. Cap immediately to preserve carbonation. Repeat for all bottles.flavour-emulsion concentrate: 10 ml, carbonated water: 345 ml
-
9Chill for timer before serving. Shake very gently if any separation occurs, though a proper nanoemulsion should remain stable for weeks.timer: 2 hours
